We said goodbye to Lisa Lamb on Sunday as she finished up her "Saga of Sermons" on Genesis, she will be missed, and I think all will agree when I say she was very nice and polite and counted everyone in in her sermons.
Church of the Foothills is a church on the street of Sierra Marde Villa in Pasadena, California. Though small in size, we're a very tight-knit group of people who welcome new-comers with open arms.
Church of the Foothills, or The Hill as we like to call it, includes not only the church itself, but a preschool as well; Joy Christian Preschool. It harbors a safe haven to childeren of working families. Each teacher loves and cares for each student as they enjoy themselves in each area they're in.
On Sunday mornings at 10:00, The Hill gets really hopin' with songs sung by our worship team, lead by Kathryn Scroggins.
We have our new Pastor, Pastor Kier and speaking on behalf of all of us, he's doing a great job.
If you happen to have a child with you, not to worry about interuptions! Right before the sermon, your child will be taken to Sunday School, directed by Kathyrn Scroggins and Judy Woodrum, where they learn about Jesus and grow through him step by step.
Now, every Tuesday night starting at 7:00, is B.A.R.F Nite (Bring A Real Friend) for the Youth (6th grade and up) directed by Rebecca and Martin Gantt, as well as Sunday School, the youth grow through Jesus and learn about his power and mercy.
If Church of the Foothills sounds like the church for you, come join us on Sunday mornings @ 10:00
