Richard Joseph Krejcir lives in Southern California and is married to the beautiful MaryRuth and a precious son Ryan born May 10, 2006, a miracle from God. He is committed to prayer, spiritual growth, and integrity. He is the Founder and Director of Into Thy Word Ministries, a missions and discipling ministry, with a call upon his heart to bring discipleship materials to pastors and everyone who needs them here and overseas. He is the author of numerous articles, curriculums and the book, Into Thy Word, and is also an ordained pastor, teacher, and speaker. He is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena California (Master of Divinity) and holds a Ph.D. (Practical Theology) from London. He has amounted over 20 years of pastoral ministry experience, mostly in youth ministry, including serving as a church growth consultant.
Dr. Krejcir has been teaching inductive Bible study principles at camps, conferences and churches all over the world since 1978. He does this to give people opportunities and tools so they can learn how to gain those life-impacting insights from the Bible. Richard has been personally discipled by some of Christendom’s greatest thinkers and leaders, including his uncle Dr. Francis A. Schaeffer, others such as Dr. Walter Martin, Chuck Miller, Ralph Winter, and Robert Boyd Munger have personally mentored him, as well as other great and godly men. His main influencers have been Schaeffer as well as Oswald Chambers and Charles Haddon Spurgeon. Richard has learned and remains committed to teaching people how to find the time for Christ, how to be His disciple, and how to understand His Word better.
The following are essential to the Christian’s walk of faith, which Richard strives to the fullest to obey and practice daily:
• A caring, effective love relationship with Jesus Christ as LORD.
• A lifestyle dedicated to obeying God’s Will.
• Daily devotional times, prayer, and studying of God’s Word.
• A joyful love and willingness to serve our Lord, even through personal sacrifice.
• A witness for Christ without hypocrisy.
• A firm desire to be God’s child through trust and obedience.
• A working faith in God’s promises for all daily needs and in all situations.
But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ--the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead. Philippians 3:7-11

Daniel: My co-worker, Clyde, needs prayer; he was in an accident.
Helen and Imm: Strength for the passing of Dennis.
Carmen: The possiblity of Hernia surgery and prayer for Heather; her college finals are this week.
Pastoral Search Team: That we find the perfect pastor for our church.

Dennis: Has gone home to be with our Lord and Savior, continue to pray for Helen and Imm.
Dana: CPT. Lopez; she feels led to start a women's Bible study for the troops and needs financial help with material.
Gary: In some pain but doing better.
Hannah: That I'll stop cracking my neck. Praise the Lord, I found my i-pod!
Holly: Pray for cooler weather so I can finish cleaning out my garage; I have till the end of the month.
Nadine: Had a small stroke last week, need prayer for her health.
Kay: Feels very weak since her last fall.
Marilou: Terrible back pain and needs blood work but has no health insurance.

Meditation of the Week

Mission is not an optional part of the Christian life. It is essential to it. Mission is inherent in a Christian view of God, the divine-human relationship, Christian experience and the Church. The Church is under commission from it's Lord to proclaim the whole Gospel to the world. Mission is woven into the basic task of the Church. It is the outreach of the Church in all areas of life. The Gospel is, "good news" for the persons who hear the biblical message, because the message is that God loves all people and that, through Christ, God offers redemption for the whole person. The Gospel is "good news" for the Church because it explains that the Church is to proclaim God's message and to mediate His love to all people in the whole world. Further, it promises that God's Spirit will work in the world to empower the Church for it"s task --- David Telfer

Lisa Lamb's Last Sermon at The Hill

We said goodbye to Lisa Lamb on Sunday as she finished up her "Saga of Sermons" on Genesis, she will be missed, and I think all will agree when I say she was very nice and polite and counted everyone in in her sermons.

"You Know Me" by Mark DeFazio

On Sunday morning right before Lisa Lamb's Sermon, Mark DeFazio stepped on stage and sang his original song titled "You Know Me", he told us the story of how the idea for the song was born; it was combination of inspirations beginning with Lisa Lamb's sermon then Joanie Frymire was talking to Conni Hinkle and at one point in the conversation Joanie said "You know me", and immediatly the song title was born in Mark's mind.
Then 6 months later, Mark figured out what the song should be about; how God knows us inside and out.

Spirit of God, my heart refine, Spirit of love, joy, peace
