Prayer Requests: 06-20-2010

Addie: Emily lost her battle with cancer and went to be with the Lord and Savior; she leaves behind a husband and two children.
Shan: Is confronting the sale of his mother's house after her passing recently.
Lela: For my daughter to find peace in her life and return to church.
Carmen: Continued prayer for her family, her finances and health.
Nadine: Travis to find an affordable apt.; Ben to find housing that his wheelchair will fit in.
Holly: Energy and focus as I begin going through my garage and cleaning my old apt.
Judy: Continued prayer for Gary as he faces selling his mom's home.

Farewell Fabulous Faithful Frymire Friends

Good times were had June 13th at Mama's Kitchen; there was laughing, crying and even more laughing, and of course, fantastic food. If I could rate the food from 1 to 10, I'd give it a 20, and I'm sure all who were there would agree with me.
However, in spite of the joviality, there was an air of sadness about the evening, for our Pastor Jeff and his wife, Joanie, were leaving us. At the end there was much hugging and pictures (Courtesy of Judy Woodrum.
I think I speak for all of us when I say, Frymires, you are a very dear friend to us all!

Prayer Requests 06.06.2010

Kay Guilford: Fell outside yesterday and while she didn't break anything, still very sore.
Lela: For my daughter to find peace in her life and return to church.
Carmen: Continued prayer for her family, after the loss of her mother.
Nadine: Travis' living situation, he wasn't able to stay at Holly's house.
Holly: Energy as I move to mom's, praise God that Roxanne returned home safely and had a good time with Ilene and John.
Judy: Continued prayer for Gary as he faces selling his mom's house.

The Women crash the Men's Retreat!

The unsuspecting men sat and ate their pancakes and enjoyed their coffee at the Men's Retreat in the Reyn Cafe, little did they know, the women were on their way.






As soon as the women crash-landed, there was panic and fear for dear life!



All the men were thinking was "No where is safe!"



But all in all, they had fun.



What we learned from the men:

Rule 1#: No Hugging.

Rule 2#: Order the same thing every single time No exceptions!

Rule 3#: You must know a women, so you can talk about them.
