Goodbye Potlucks!

We said farewell to the Wednesday Potlucks, because it was hard to keep up the routine of making food after a hard day's work and going to the church. Arlene Oltman suggested we have a potluck after church, so we aren't as tired. We had gotten "I"'s from everyone in the church, so it was settled.
We are now doing potluck right after church.

Meditation of the Week

There comes a time in every heart, a time of real decisin when we reach the point of choosing how we will live our lives. All our hope , all our dreams will ris up from that moment, the moment we surrende andchoose to follow Christ. He's been waiting all our lives to hear us say, "I am yours Lord, take my hand and lead the way." All I have, all I am esting in his promise. The promise that he'll make me everything that I should be. I will live, I will die, for the cause he's set before me, to take his love inside my heart for all the world to see. When you believe he's all you need, that will be your defining moment. As you liver you life walking in his light trusting him completely, that will be your defining moment.

Meditation of the Week

There are many attributes that make up the nature of God. God is omniscient, omnipresent, sovreign and all powerful, but the primary attribute that defines the nature of God is his sacrificial love. In the most quoted verse in the Bible, (John 3:16) we learn that when God gives he gives a son. This is the essence of who God is. We should know that all the time. Suck love would not be possible if it had not been for the nature of God reflected in who we are. He is the author of love. God is love!

Weekly Meditation

Have you ever had a coincidence which was so special that it seemed like God was in it? A divine appointment is a "meeting" which was inspired and God led. God is sovreign, he is all knowing and all powerful.

Sometimes God wants to bless us and other people. The possibilities of divine appointments are endless! If we are willing to be led by the Holy Spirit, great things are Possible.

Throughout the Bible there are many examples of divine appointment. Time after time God leads the faithful to cross another person's path and great things happen.
