ICS= Ice Cream Social

Come one, come all, come to the Ice Cream Social this Sunday @ 3:00 at Joyce's front yard. Bring your homemade ice cream, any flavor at all! But if you make oyster flavored ice cream, realize that you'll find only a few scoops of it missing. Maybe you want to bring a friend along? Well bring whoever you want--your barber, your grandma, your exotic plant photographer. And remember, before you bring your friend, be sure to ask them if they're lactose intolerant. We'll also be doing skits, have musical proformances, crazy dancing, tight rope walking, fire juggling, sword swallowing. Well, maybe not those last three. But if you have something you want to do, start practicing so you can preform it at our ICE CREAM SOCIAL!!!.

Nadine

Our sister in Chirst, Nadine Keller, recently passed away. She will be dearly missed and our mourn for her is very great. She had a wonderful heart and spirit full of bright, loving happiness. But we know she's in a much better place and she doesn't have to suffer any longer and for that, we are greatful and now she's sitting with Jesus having the greatest time she could ever have. Rest peacefully, Nadine.

Goodbye Potlucks!

We said farewell to the Wednesday Potlucks, because it was hard to keep up the routine of making food after a hard day's work and going to the church. Arlene Oltman suggested we have a potluck after church, so we aren't as tired. We had gotten "I"'s from everyone in the church, so it was settled.
We are now doing potluck right after church.

Meditation of the Week

There comes a time in every heart, a time of real decisin when we reach the point of choosing how we will live our lives. All our hope , all our dreams will ris up from that moment, the moment we surrende andchoose to follow Christ. He's been waiting all our lives to hear us say, "I am yours Lord, take my hand and lead the way." All I have, all I am esting in his promise. The promise that he'll make me everything that I should be. I will live, I will die, for the cause he's set before me, to take his love inside my heart for all the world to see. When you believe he's all you need, that will be your defining moment. As you liver you life walking in his light trusting him completely, that will be your defining moment.
